«   Custom   » family of indicators
The "Custom" indicator family makes it possible to use company data using "Cockpits". These are spaces that allow you to create and customize 4 indicators at a time. There are different types of indicators that can represent either: performance, efficiency, or a state of the operational situation. Depending on the type of indicator, there are different chart templates to better visualize the information you want to track.

Indicator management (Modify, delete and add an indicator)

At this step, the chart type is already selected. For indicator modification, only the elements that characterize the chart can be changed.
Example of elements that can be changed on an existing indicator.

When creating an indicator, the first step is to select the category: “Financials” or “Balance”. The category selected by default is “Financials”. For the configuration of indicators, see modules 8.3 and 8.4 Configuring Indicators…

Choice of data display for tracking

After the choice of display, you must select the Dates, that is to say on which type of interval that you want to view the data.
The period offers the choice of viewing monthly or weekly data.

Immobilization account tracking: The choice of what data to display is only possible for your main accounts

Representation of custom indicators
ALEOP offers a choice of models for the representation of indicators in several forms to better personalize them.
Possible use of different indicator representation models depending on chosen type of tracking

Six models for the presentation of indicators

«   Interval variation   »
The indicator representation model “Interval variation” is possible for all types of monitoring.
This representation allows the indicator to be viewed in the form of circular, vertical, or horizontal gauges. This form is useful when one wants to observe an operational situation in relation to an objective. For example, this form can be used to keep track of annual veterinary bills, fuel, or a construction project that you have budgeted for.

«  Period compare  »
The representation of the indicator as "Period compare" is possible for all types of monitoring.
This representation model allows the indicator to be viewed in the form of bars (histograms) or curved lines. The form is adapted to better suit what you wish to observe, weather it is a variation or a cumulative result (evolution of the balance). For some, the choice of bars better represents variations and the choice of curved lines is better suited to observe how the balance evolved (cumulative result).

Example of a period comparison with bars representing monthly variations

«  Results ventilation  »
The representation of indicators by "Results ventilation" is possible for all types of monitoring and their composition is either partners or accounts.
This representation model allows to view the indicator in pie charts, bars, donut, or radar charts. In many cases, the presentation of the indicator in a pie chart or a stacked bar chart makes it possible to clearly visualize how it is broken down.

«   12 month moving sum   »
The representation of indicators by "12 month moving sum" is possible for all types of financial monitoring except “company follow-ups”.
This representation model allows to view the indicator in bars (histogram) or curved lines. This indicator is used to present annual results by month, basically like you were always in a end-of-year situation. For some, the choice of a histogram better represents these results.

«   Year on year compare   »
The representation of this indicator puts into perspective the cumulative or monthly variations of the current year, for a defined period, compared to the two previous years.
This representation model allows to view the indicator in bars for the current year and lines for the previous years.

«   Income/Expenses compare   »
The indicator representation model "Income – Expenses compare" is only possible for company follow-ups. This indicator highlights income and expenses in an “Area” chart. This representation is used to view variations or a cumulative over a certain period.
