Aleop rolls out its dairy indicators nationwide

Un outil technico-économique pour suivre sa performance en continu

Quebec, May 6, 2026 – Aleop annonce le déploiement de ses indicateurs laitiers à la grandeur du pays. Développés en collaboration avec Trouw Nutrition en 2018 et utilisés dans différents contextes terrain, ces indicateurs sont maintenant accessibles à l'ensemble des entreprises laitières canadiennes.

This new techno-economic component builds on the management tools already offered by Aleop. By combining accounting data with production-related technical data, the dairy indicators provide a current and concrete view of business performance.

In a context where analyses often arrive several months after results, Aleop offers a different approach: continuously updated data that allows businesses to track performance throughout the year and adjust decisions at the right time.

These indicators help better understand performance gaps by quickly distinguishing the impact of milk prices from that of herd management decisions. They also facilitate discussions between producers and stakeholders—whether advisors, financial partners, or suppliers—by relying on shared, clear, and up-to-date data.

“Dairy indicators make it easy to quickly verify whether changes made to the herd are having the expected impact on results. You can see the effect during the year, which helps me adjust earlier,” says a producer using the tool.

“This launch marks an important milestone. Producers now have access to indicators derived directly from their accounting data, calculated automatically and without intermediaries. They can take a critical look at their results without waiting,” says Patrice Carle, agronomist and General Manager at Solution Aleop.
